Dr. Christy received his bachelor’s degree in human biology from Michigan State University before attending the University of Detroit in Mercy where he graduated in 2011. He received advanced education in general dentistry at Wright Patterson AFB in 2012 as well as advanced implant training in Alabama in 2019. He is a member of the American Dental Association and is also has credentials in IV sedation. Dr. Christy was in active duty service for 12 years in the US Air Force and is currently a Lt. Colonel in the USAF Reserves.  He has been practicing dentistry in the area for nine years where his goal is to provide the highest quality treatment in an efficient manner and aid patients in achieving and maintaining great oral health.

In his free time, Dr. Christy is an avid fly fisher and hockey player.

Dr. Vogle attended Brigham Young University for his bachelor’s degree in Spanish. He then went on to attend Marguette University School of Dentistry where he graduated in 1995. He completed his general practice residency at the VA hospital in Milwaukee, WI, and his IV sedation and oral surgery residency at the US Air Force in Lackland. He is a member of the ADA and ISDA, and receives 15+ continuing education course credits every year. He has been practicing dentistry for almost 30 years.

Dr. Vogle is married to his wife, Julie, and they have six children and six grandchildren.

Dr. Frandsen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition before attending Roseman University College of Dental Medicine for his dental degree, which he achieved in 2020. From 2020 to 2021, he took an AEGD residency in the Air Force where he expanded his skillset in surgery, IV sedation, endodontics and prosthodontics. He also continues his education every year through CE courses to stay on top of the latest advances in dentistry. Dr. Frandsen is a proud member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), also known as the National Dental Honor Society. He started practicing dentistry in Mountain Home in 2022, where his goal is to improve the oral health of his patients through education and provide pain relief in a quick and comfortable manner.

Dr. Frandsen is married to his wife, Cassidy, and they have two daughters and one son. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and raising Morgan horses.

Dr. Laura is our visiting orthodontist who comes in once a week from her own practice to offer orthodontic care. She is an Idaho native and was raised in the small town of Payette. She knew at the young age of 8 that she wanted to be an orthodontist and she stuck to that dream. She also stuck with her commitment to come back to Idaho to start her practice and her family.

Upon completion of her orthodontic training in 1998, Dr. Laura returned to her beautiful home state and opened her own practice in Boise. In 1999 she opened her office in Mountain Home. In 2019 she opened a third location in her hometown of Payette. She loves bringing her smile-straightening skills to her community.

Dr. Laura has two children that are now adults, and two dogs and a cat that she is hoping never grows up. When she is not busy at work, she can be found on a treadmill, a ski hill or a golf course. She has skied since she was five and is an avid runner. Her golf game is a work in progress.

Education

Dr. Laura graduated from Payette High School in 1987. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho she moved to Omaha, Nebraska, to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Creighton University School of Dentistry. Dr. Laura earned her Master of Science, as well as her specialty certificate in orthodontics from West Virginia University in 1998. She enjoys returning to WVU to attend continuing education meetings and catch a Mountaineer football game. Go EERS! Dr. Laura enjoys furthering her education and attends meetings all over the country. She is always on top of the latest advancements in orthodontics.

Associations

Dr. Laura is involved in several professional organizations, including the American Board of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Southwest Idaho District Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists and Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. She knows orthodontists all over the world and regularly collaborates with them to ensure that her patients receive the best possible care!
